The details behind “What If We Could Change the World?”
Campaign status
MUM is the exclusive home of our proposed gift campaign. Gift collection remains inactive and unpublished pending legal, tax, and financial approval. No gifts or pledges are accepted here. No payment is processed and no financial information is collected.
Our goal is to raise $1 million by February 1, 2027. This is a campaign target, not money received or a promised outcome. The campaign has not launched, and verified gift totals and progress are not available.
Joining our journey signs you up for MUM updates. It does not create a gift, pledge or payment.
Proposed use of gifts
The proposed campaign would support for-profit business development and related community initiatives. It would not be limited to direct community aid.
- Build service capacity, training, tools and operating systems for the businesses.
- Develop community access and affordability initiatives through appropriate partners.
- Prepare scholarships, animal-welfare assistance and responsible safety initiatives.
- Document the journey and report how resources are used.
Recipient entities, allocation amounts, compensation and overhead, timelines and transfer arrangements are not yet approved. These details, including the payment recipient, tax treatment, refund policy and required disclosures, must be approved before gift collection begins.
Gifts would not buy equity, repayment rights, financial returns or a guaranteed service. No claim of tax deductibility is made.
Missions and community programs
The five missions describe purposes and proposed initiatives, not claimed outcomes. Assistance programs, scholarship awards and campaign allocations require approval before launch.
The Kobe Legacy Fund is a developing initiative. No charitable or tax-exempt status is represented.
HomeFax remains an independent, brand-agnostic standards and property-history business. It retains independent standards and review, and owners choose their service provider.
Future Premier assistance would be developed with qualified community organizations and safety professionals around privacy, consent and individual needs. Community and survivor-support initiatives are not yet operating assistance programs or guarantees of protection.
Proposed partnerships
The community partnership categories describe areas of collaboration we are exploring. Organizations have not been confirmed, and no partnership or endorsement is being announced.
Brand partnership conversations are about fit. No sponsorships are being announced.
Impact reporting
Our first annual impact report is planned for the end of 2027. We will report actual outcomes once verified data is available. Reporting categories are not claimed results, and “Not yet reported” does not mean zero.
We intend to explain gifts received, if any; allocations by business; operating costs versus direct community support; remaining funds; and allocation assumptions. Stories will be shared with permission and appropriate privacy protections.
The World We’re ChangingThe businesses and the journey
Future seasons, products and the audience-member business chapter are plans in development. The real journey will shape the timing and what we share.
Community business selection
The planned process is to receive business plans, have Drew and Sarah select finalists, and invite the MUM community to vote on which finalist’s business they will help grow. Voting is not open yet. Eligibility, selection criteria, dates, voting rules and the scope of support will be shared before voting begins.
